How to calculate terminal block wiring

1. If the cross-sectional area of single core wire is less than 6mm2, calculate the external connection without terminal. When it exceeds 6mm2, it is considered as a large cross-section, and the connection terminal welded (compressed) is calculated.

2. If the cross section of the multi-core wire is within 6mm2, calculate the external connection of the terminal. When it is more than 6mm2, the cross section is considered to be large and the welding (compression) terminal is calculated.

3. The material of the terminal must be the same as that of the wire.

4. After calculating the welding (pressing) terminal, the external wiring of the terminal shall not be calculated.

5. 10 mm Single core and below or 2.5 mm multi-core and below copper sleeve, with external terminal free wiring, and 16 mm Single core or 4 mm multi-core copper core with crimping terminal. However, it is difficult to put the plastic case switch on the terminal when the terminal is crimped with 16mm wire, so only the zero wire crimping terminal is included, and the ground wire and the live wire are regarded as external terminal free wiring. Note: if the cable has terminals, they are counted as terminals with external wiring at one time, but if the welded (pressed) terminals are counted, they shall not be counted in the calculation of terminal blocks.
